Wellspring weight loss camps are among the most effective summer camps for overweight young people.

Unlike teen diets, fitness programmes, or day camps, Wellspring provides a comprehensive immersive environment. Wellspring's focus is on changing behaviours—eat a low- fat, low-density diet, take 10,000 steps per day, and self-monitor diet and activity. Following the completion of camp, Wellspring students continue self-monitoring diet and activity with our unique online Continuing Care Programme, which lasts until June 2012. Online, students communicate with their Behavioural Coaches and newfound friends from summer. We believe so strongly in the importance of our Continuing Care Programme that we offer a £500 Continuing Care Award for successfully completing the first 3 months of the programme.
