ACTIVITIES
The focus at Wellspring UK is weight loss through adventure. Most of the young people we work with are not enthusiastic about football and traditional sports, but when we’re out in the Lake District National Park a high level of activity comes naturally.
Wellspring participants enjoy climbing Lake District hills and crags. When they reach the summit and experience the breathtaking view,, they feel they can accomplish anything, including the abseil back down to the bottom! They also experience hill-walking through the rolling valleys and the picturesque fells, canoeing on serene lakes and try ghyll scrambling – walking and scrambling up one of the many Lake District streams. Don’t worry – all Wellspring activities are designed for absolute beginners, with lots of positive support along the way to boost commitment to an active lifestyle.

When we’re back on our estate, we utilise the entire campus, which features a ropes course, indoor climbing wall, fitness centre, sports pitches and walking trails.
