Easy and Fun Ways to Get Active
We want you to have the most fun and exciting summer of your life at Wellspring UK! Our focus is on enjoyable activities that promote weight loss and allow students to feel successful at new skills. We choose activities that students are most likely to continue at home, so that the weight loss, active lifestyle, and sense of accomplishment continue long after students leave Wellspring UK.

First, Wellspring focuses on a simple behavioural change—take 10,000 steps as measured on a pedometer. This is an easily understood and measurable goal.

Most students easily exceed this goal as they participate in games, sports, and adventure activities. Wellspring students canoe, hike, and ghyll scramble local hills and crags. Back on campus, we play football, netball, and basketball, to name a few, while we also participate in scavenger hunts, capture the flag, and other traditional camp activities specifically designed for fun and to maximize activity.

Don’t worry – all Wellspring activities are designed for absolute beginners, with lots of positive support along the way to boost commitment to an active lifestyle.


When we’re back on our estate, we utilise the entire campus for more fun and activity.
