Wellspring UK students achieve measurable results in 4 weeks. However, many will attend for 6 or 8 weeks for even better results.

Refundable Fee: Year-round after-care programme until June 1, 2009 £250

Research has demonstrated the importance of compliance with the after-care programme for continued weight loss after returning home. Wellspring is focused on permanent weight loss and will refund the after-care fee if the programme is used successfully during the first 90 days after camp ends.

Admission criteria

WEIGHT: Students must be at least 10 kg overweight and have been struggling with their weight for at least one year.

ATTITUDE: Students must view Wellspring as an opportunity. Wellspring will not admit students who are clearly opposed to attending, or who have a history of oppositional behaviour or violence.

MEDICAL: Wellspring cannot admit students with medical issues requiring hospitalisation.

A deposit is due with the application (£300 for 4 weeks, £450 for 6 weeks and £600 for 8 weeks).  Following receipt of the completed application, families are requested to complete an enrolment package, which includes questions for parents, for the student, and for the family GP. The deposit is non-refundable, unless the student’s application is not accepted (see Admission criteria, above). Students are admitted to the programme after all forms in the enrolment package have been received.

The deposit is credited towards the programme’s tuition.

Payment

The remaining balance of tuition fees is due at least 8 days before your child starts the programme. Payment can be made by credit card, cheque or bank transfer. Tuition and listed fees include all costs while the student is on the programme, except for any out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Cancellation Insurance:

Families may purchase cancellation insurance from Wellspring for an additional 15% of the tuition cost. Families who purchase insurance will be entitled to a pro rata refund for all days missed. Cancellation insurance may be selected at the time the tuition fees are paid (at least 7 days before your child starts the programme).
