Location
Located in the centre of Lake District National Park, Wellspring UK provides students an extraordinary base from which to explore England’s most scenic region. Wellspring campers enjoy majestic surroundings such as walking fells, summit cairns, and hiking through glacial valleys and past babbling mountain streams, all while improving fitness and losing weight. The wondrous scenery that has enthralled poets and artists for centuries also serves to motivate young people to love and adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.
Wellspring UK’s base is a remarkable 400 acre private wooded estate situated on the south-west shores of Lake Windermere. Campers enjoy modern, comfortable dormitory accommodations. We take our meals in a picturesque dining hall overlooking Lake Windermere.
Although we spend much of our time out in the National Park, on the lakes and hills and in the valleys, we also take advantage of our estate, where we engage in a wide range of fitness activities and sports, including football, personal training, a high ropes course, fitness classes, volleyball, and much more.
Wellspring UK picks up campers at Manchester International Airport (MAN).

The Lake District
Some of England’s most famous scenery is found in the Lake District. Take in the views, breathe in the fresh air, watch nature work its magic and experience what has been an inspiration to generations of artists and writers alike. Whether it's a gentle stroll or a challenging hike, with pathways winding through valleys, over fells and along lake shores, you could be forgiven for getting lost in the view.
The Lake District is also renowned as England’s biggest adventure playground. There is quite simply an unrivalled variety of outdoor activities available to visitors. Wellspring UK students enjoy them all against one of England's most spectacular backdrops of lakes, mountains and coast.
2008 is the "Year of Adventure" in the Lake District, a perfect way to learn to love an active, healthy lifestyle at Wellspring UK.
