Typical Day of Fun and Weight Loss at Wellspring UK
Every day at Wellspring UK is packed with lots of fun activities and time with new friends. Here's what you can expect from a typical day at camp.
Typical Day #1
- Stretch and then morning walk through the beautiful hills and fields of the Exeter campus to get you on your way to 10,000 steps.
- Breakfast of scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, toast, fresh fruit and yoghurt, followed by self-monitoring.
- Depart for climbing trip. No matter your skill level or experience, we'll ensure you have an amazing experience.
- Lunch of chicken stir-fry with rice, steamed veggies, lentil soup, and unlimited salad bar, followed by self-monitoring.
- Culinary training: Today you're learning to make delicious breakfast sandwiches.
- Mid-afternoon snack with friends—your choice of baked crisps or fat-free pudding.
- Football: Head to the field for a lesson, followed by a friendly team game.
- Dinner of sweet and sour turkey, mushroom soup, and unlimited salad and fruit bar, followed by self-monitoring.
- Evening Activity: Talent show! Sing, dance and laugh the night away with new friends, followed by snack of fat-free brownies.
- Back to dorms and lights out. Time to rest up for another fun day.
Typical Day #2
- Morning walk or yoga. Either way, it's a great start to your morning!
- Breakfast of waffles or breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit and yoghurt, followed by self-monitoring. Â

- Canoe trip: You've been practicing your paddling skills and now it's time to get out on the water and enjoy the morning sunshine.
- Group session with Behavioural Coach: Today you're working on identifying your stress triggers.
- Lunch of turkey or veggie burgers, baked chips, vegetable soup, unlimited salad bar and fresh fruit, followed by self-monitoring.
- Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt: You're putting together a list of all the great Wellspring-friendly food you'll enjoy when you return home.
- Afternoon hike along the beach, with a snack of pretzels or chocolate cookies along the way.
- Dinner of grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, lentil soup, and salad bar, followed by self-monitoring.
- Evening Activity: Disco! Get out on the dance floor for a fun and active night. Snack of air-popped popcorn.

- Back to dorms and lights out.
