Wellspring UK Special Trips
In addition to the many fun activities you'll enjoy every day at Wellspring UK, you'll have the chance to participate in a range of exciting trips with your new camp friends. Summertime wouldn't be complete without visiting a few fun attractions, so we've put together a schedule of special trips.
Many students like to plan their stay at Wellspring UK around our trip schedule, so we plan it as early as possible every year. Students earn the right to participate in special trips based on meeting the requirements of the Wellspring Level System, which rewards students for positive behaviour and consistent effort towards activity goals. All of the trips included in the schedule below are free for campers.
Thorpe Park Amusement Park (July 18)
Enjoy over 30 adrenaline fueled rides at England’s Thrill capital! Check out The Swarm, a brand new ride debuting in 2012, and make memories with your friends as you soar to high heights.
Paignton Zoo (August 8)
Visit the desert, explore the forest, traverse the savannah, and more. With over five thousand animals, five different habitats, and various activities each day, there’s lots to do and see. The real question is, which exhibit will you check out first? From kangaroos to panda bears, zebras to camels, you can see it all!
Plymouth Aquarium (August 29)
UK’s largest aquarium is a fantastic opportunity to check out exotic sea animals and interact with animal trainers in live demonstrations. View 70 species of sharks, species native to the Atlantic Ocean, British coasts, and even coral reefs.
